I would like to thank you for everything you’ve taught me by only being yourself. Yael is an amazing human being that inspires me no matter what she does. She is full knowledge and awareness, and pure love, and being around her is a constant and valuable lesson; not only about dance but about life in general. All of her classes, tasks, talks, chats and workshops are fully applicable in real life, in walking in the street, in loving someone, in deepening an understanding and a connection to yourself as a whole… I am very thankful for her as she is one of my main inspirations and has helped me a lot since I met her, she awakes sensitivity, connectivity, vulnerability and availability; which I feel are keys for a healthy, happy and loving life. One of the greatest teachers you will find. Thank you Yael! With love, Alex
Yael is easily one of the most inspiring humans I have ever had the opportunity to cross paths with. She is Inviting and energetic but at the same time so generous. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have learned from, worked with, and shared space and time with Yael. Truly one of a kind, thank you for leaving a forever impact on me. Please please yourself!
Beautiful, sweet and at the same time endowed with an innate energy almost wild, she’s an exceptional dancer, sincere and deep, I would say magical. His power is knowing how to ignite the strength that everyone has within himself, letting you discover how to make your seed bloom, showing you that all the instruments reside in yourself and there is no need to do an anxious research for something outside us. She helps you to stop and observe, the way we breath, the way we walk, the movement in the apparent staticity of our body. She opens your eyes and shows you the power of small details. It makes you aware of the intelligent body you possess. Brings the light to the surface, lets your energy flow in the most natural way I’ve ever felt. It pushes you to connect and talk to and through your body with absolute truth, putting aside the artifice and the execution of movements for their own sake. Each of us is a huge well of creativity and beauty so it is important to respect and thank our body. I’m lucky to have met her, and I can’t thank her enough.
If you want to experience a deep dive of exploration into your own body and mind, go watch a show or take a class of this crazy woman. One will leave with alot of answers and even more new questions which are offered in a welcoming and very peaceful way – if dancer, non dancer, kid, elder person, elephant or any other existing being. A mix of chilled vibes and/or lightspeed trips will will await you when getting into contact with Yael. Be ready to abandon things you thought you´d know and welcome an open mind. Much love, Aron
Thank you for your classes in the past weeks! I have experienced such a wonderful journey, having the pleasure to dive into a subtle awareness. Not only physically, but also rocking and touching my soul. I am very glad for that, thanks!
When I met Yael I was exactly at a point of change in my life. I was making the transition from being a full-time dancer to a university student. So physically I was going from moving all day to sitting all day. This was not easy, I had a lot of old injuries from dancing and sitting hurt my neck, lower back, and hip joints. I was restless and unable to concentrate. Yael worked with me very gently on letting go of muscular tension, allowing the body to “release and rest on the bones”, and creating new habits through the learning of the nervous system. She did this with just a few private sessions. The effect was immediate and long-lasting. It was as though she was able to go around my conscious mind and enter a deeper level of my nervous system, re-wire it, and save… I now sit the no pain and am able to concentrate for hours. Yael is one of the most attentive therapists I know. She knows how to read the body and analyze movement and she is able to give the most exact cues, both verbally and with her touch, that eventually make all the difference.
Yael taught me several times, and whether it was for a few weeks or for one spare workshop, it always worth one’s while. For the past few months, I’ve had the luck to follow her classes and while most of the people were feeling confined, restrained, locked up in their living rooms… I felt free. I believe Yael not only taught me a healthier approach to movement but also guided me to a wonderful self-discovery through a set of knowledge I could save and apply to my everyday life. Forever thankful, Olivia
Yael had become a big inspiration for me, and I feel her spirit many times when I dance. She recognizes the beauty and the unique things in every movement, or words (which are not so different than one another) and helps you encourage your real self and not to try to be someone you are not. Her energy takes you far, makes you think beyond just physical movements, expanding your consciousness, and makes you explore in yourself. I feel like the work with her opened new doors for me inside myself and my movement expression and I can’t wait for the next time.
Yael is one of my biggest inspirations in life. The way she moves, the way she talks, the way she teaches makes me happier and healthier, both, mentally and physically. Her classes prove that we can be surprised by our bodies every day, again and again, that we are the ones who can heal ourselves better than anybody else. It feels like there is no end for body exploration, and it is the best gift for a dancer — to become fully aware of every part of the body. Yael gives this opportunity. Extremely grateful!
Yael has brought me to a totally different perception of my body, a very analytical understanding of the mechanism of the bone, muscles and tissue structures, but without underestimating the power of the senses, of the feelings, of the continuous discussion between the body and the mind. She shows the possibility of a friendly and healthy relation to one’s body and gives the key to the anatomical proprioceptive treasures that we often forget are in us. I don’t think anyone can walk the same way after experiencing Yael’s class, neither dancing the same way. Thank you for this treasure you offer, Yael.
I highly recommend dancers or anyone interested in movement to take Feldenkrais with Yael. She guides you softly through the movement, calm and precise. After every class with Yael, I feel much more connected to my body, grounded and overall just great! I can’t wait to join Yael’s class again!
After a contact with Yael I always feel uplifted, curious, sensitive, patient and loving. She seems to not only teach me about my body and movement but somehow always surprises me with a life lesson that I need to hear at this exact time. She leaves me with flowers in my eyes. Thank you for inspiring.
I really appreciated those classes with Yael. I thanks her a lot for her enthusiasm, and the way she creates links between functions and ideas, the way that she drives our attention on some spot I didn’t have the habit to look! As a Feldenkrais teacher myself, it did me a lot of good to be guided to new discoveries in this very nice atmosphere. In this not-so-easy period, it refreshed me in a way!
